Raytheon is hiring a 2nd shift Electrical Engineer Supervisor in Fort Bliss, TX.

The candidate will Manages / Supervises daily operations over group of Mechanical Technicians and Electrical Engineer during 2nd shift support operations involving Mechanical and Electrical Depot work deliverables.

What You Will Do
  • Provides Technical support as needed to direct reports on any technical issues that might arise on the mechanical and electrical repair operations of deliverable product
  • Provides Electrical Engineering support as required on evaluating failed electrical assemblies, products, components, and software through the use of test and measurement equipment towards successful troubleshooting to determine the root cause of failure down to the component level on failed assemblies.
  • Provides Electrical Engineering support as required on any electrical functional testing and/or Environmental Stress Screening testing (Thermal and/or Random Vibration) on test runs that shall be running onto the off shift.
  • Key Driver to ensure the optimization of site Test and Quality Processes through assigned 2nd shift operations, including through the use of process performance metrics and support of internal and external process audits.
  • Maintains control of all Electro-static Sensitive Device (ESD) precautions and processes - works with various groups towards ensuring full compliance.


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience working in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Planning, Production, and/or Quality environment.


Qualifications We Prefer
  • Ability to autonomously manage/supervise day-to-day operations on off shift
  • Electrical evaluation/trouble-shooting skills
  • experience with Test and evaluation measurement equipment - including (but not limited to): DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF equipment, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications - MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong Work Ethic, self-motivation, and accountability - with emphasis on meeting deliverable schedules
  • Defense Contractor or similar work experience
  • Experience on Environmental Stress Test (Thermal Cycling and Vibration) methodologies

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
