Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the role of the Loitering Munitions Director. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Precision Fires and Maneuvers and is responsible for leading all aspects of program execution and growth for Loitering Munitions and Launched Effects. The family consists of Loitering Munitions and Launched Effects programs to provide the warfighter with multiple types of capabilities to include lethal, EO/IR, RF, and Communications Relays.
You will lead a team of professionals and work closely with Program management, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Contracts teams. This role is complex, with responsibilities spanning multiple types of contracts, products and strategic growth areas.
You will lead the development of capability roadmaps driven by US and International evolving needs and ensure alignment with the Launched Effects Family of Systems product and development roadmaps. You will also serve as primary lead for tactical new business pursuits with the Requirements & Capabilities Team, Engineering, Legal, Supply Chain, Contracts and Finance.

The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

What You Will Do
- Full profit and loss responsibilities and growth for the loitering munitions and launched effects portfolio including contractual, financial, technical, and schedule requirements
- Drive execution while meeting strategic objectives
- Develop, inform and achieve AOP and LRP goals and objectives
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, strategy development, internal and external program reviews, and program development through direct customer engagement, proposal preparation, supplier management, program management status reporting, and generation of work authorizations (IOTs), statements of work (SOWs), and specifications
- Serve as the primary interface with multiple customers to develop and influence program priorities, execution and funding strategies
- Collaborate with financial planning to ensure top-level master phasing and the integrated master schedules meet program strategies, objectives and milestones
- Lead organizational capture and startup activities for follow on development and production efforts
- Lead internal reviews and executive briefings pertaining to all pursuits to include Gates, EACs, contract proposals, negotiations and definitization efforts
- Manage RLPM process for assigned programs
- Expected to support domestic and international travel as needed
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to include, but not limited to, any combination of the following: Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, Data Management (CDRL support) and/or administrative functions
- Experience with financial analysis tools and project management tools and/or systems to include Earned Value Management
- Experience balancing technical, cost and schedule on development or production programs

Qualifications We Prefer
- Demonstrated experience managing large/complex program execution efforts in development, production and/or sustainment programs in the defense industry
- Experience with complex programs at least $150 million in annual sales or greater, and experience developing and executing international capture strategies
- Strong proficiency in developing and presenting Strategic Plans, AOP, Technology Roadmaps, and planning to senior management, and responsibility for executing plans
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) (or equivalent)
- Experience with program risk and opportunity (R&O) process to include program revenue and profit recognition to minimize risk to the organization
