In this role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding information systems for a dynamic program and organization. You will help shape and enforce security policies, standards, and methodologies to ensure secure and resilient computer operations.
What you will do
- Drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge information security strategies.
- Maintain a strong operational security posture to ensure compliance and protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to propose, coordinate, and enforce security policies and best practices.
- Manage the security aspects of complex information systems and perform hands-on, day-to-day security operations.
- Develop and update the system security plan and other Cybersecurity documentation.
- Provide support to senior ISSOs for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
What you need to have
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS /SCI w Poly.
- Experience:
- Eight (8) years of combined work-related experience in the fields of IT, cybersecurity, or security authorization.
- Experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Knowledge of current security tools.
- Hardware/software security implementation.
- Communication protocols.
- Encryption tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with commercial security products, security authorization techniques, security incident management, and PKI and authorization services.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or IT Engineering.
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, four (4) additional years of work-related experience may be substituted
What we'd like you to have
- Certifications: IAM Level I certification
