ASRC Federal System Solutions, LLC. (AFSS), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. AFSS is seeking a Senior Radar Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to support the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability 2 (DARC2) program.

As the Senior Radar Systems Engineer you will support the technical engineering team to develop and maintain the local radar systems system sustainment and travel for on-site support in Australia. The successful candidate is responsible for designing, modeling, testing, and optimizing high-frequency radar, focusing on signal processing, target detection, and system integration. This person should be detailed oriented, be able to work collaboratively with multi-disciplined teams, and have proven experience with MATLAB and prototyping and hands-on troubleshooting of field operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with five (5+) years experience with radar systems sustainment and tier 2 maintenance and radar systems calibrations.
• Strong understanding of radar principles, signal processing, and electronic protection techniques

• Use MATLAB/Python for simulations and models to analyze radar performance, including signal processing, waveforms, and data processing algorithms.
• DSP, Statistics
• IQ Data Analysis
• Microwave Engineering
• Current Secret clearance and eligible for TS/SCI
• travel > 50% to AUS and Eglin AFB, FL
• Ability to get AUS visa

• Radar System Theory
• Source Code Control System (e.g. git).
