Design, secure, and optimize the networks that power mission-critical systems. NS2 Mission is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support our team in Chantilly, VA, responsible for managing and maintaining a complex, secure network infrastructure in a datacenter environment. In this role, you will leverage deep Cisco expertise to optimize network performance, enhance security, and support the evolution of a modern hybrid cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:
- Network Infrastructure Operations: Manage, maintain, and optimize a complex and secure network infrastructure supporting datacenter operations.
- Cisco Configuration & Management: Configure, support, and troubleshoot Cisco IOS and/or Cisco NX-OS environments, ensuring stability, security, and performance.
- Routing, Switching & Security: Design and configure VLANs, routing protocols, and security settings to support scalable and resilient network operations.
- Datacenter Networking: Support top-of-rack configurations and assist with storage area network (SAN) connectivity as needed.
- Network Optimization: Support Cisco implementations focused on improving network processing, efficiency, and operational performance.
- Hybrid Cloud Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and evolve the client's hybrid cloud platform.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity of operations.
- Collaboration & Agility: Work independently while also contributing as part of an Agile team to deliver scalable, secure network solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience configuring and supporting networks in a datacenter environment
- Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS and/or Cisco NX-OS
- Strong experience with VLAN configuration, routing, and network security settings
- Experience supporting Cisco implementations, network processing, and day-to-day network operations
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an Agile team
- Experience with top-of-rack configurations and SAN networking is preferred but not required
