Be the technical backbone of a high-performance datacenter-where scale, reliability, and precision matter. NS2 Mission is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support our team in Chantilly, VA, playing a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the critical infrastructure that powers a complex datacenter environment. In this role, you will lead the operation, optimization, and reliability of enterprise-grade servers, networks, and storage systems, ensuring seamless performance across mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Datacenter Infrastructure Operations: Manage and maintain the infrastructure supporting a datacenter environment, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Server & Hardware Management: Configure, deploy, and support enterprise servers, including HPE and Dell platforms, to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
- Networking: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco switches and firewalls, ensuring secure and efficient network connectivity.
- Storage Systems: Administer and support advanced storage solutions, including Dell, HPE, and PureStorage NAS, ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance.
- Cabling & Connectivity: Manage copper and fiber cabling, ensuring clean, efficient, and well-documented physical connectivity throughout the datacenter.
- Power & Cooling Management: Estimate, monitor, and optimize power and cooling capacity to maximize resource utilization and support future growth.
- Documentation & Diagrams: Create and maintain detailed infrastructure documentation and diagrams using tools such as Visio or DrawIO, including rack layouts, physical connections, and network topology.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Lead troubleshooting efforts across hardware, network, and storage components, resolving issues efficiently and minimizing downtime.
- Infrastructure Planning: Apply industry best practices to support infrastructure upgrades, expansions, and long-term datacenter planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience working in a datacenter environment with a solid background in datacenter operations
- Hands-on experience with hardware and network configurations in enterprise environments
- Experience with power and cooling capacity management and infrastructure resource planning
- Proven track record of managing complex infrastructure environments and enterprise-grade hardware solutions
- Familiarity with Cisco networking equipment, HPE and Dell servers, and advanced storage technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and ability to document and plan infrastructure changes effectively
