CPMG offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, among others, and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services.

Summary:

The Project/Program Manager III provides senior-level leadership and oversight for complex C4ISR, IT, and engineering programs supporting Department of Defense (DoD) missions. This role is responsible for managing technical, operational, and programmatic aspects of multiple projects, ensuring cost, schedule, performance, and compliance objectives are met in accordance with contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:
  • Lead and manage large-scale, complex C4ISR, IT, and engineering programs throughout the full program lifecycle.
  • Provide oversight of equipment support, system support, and programmatic support activities.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor project/program performance related to scope, cost, schedule, quality, and risk.
  • Conduct and oversee technology assessments, systems design, and systems analysis to support mission and operational requirements.
  • Provide acquisition planning and budget planning support, including cost estimates, funding profiles, and execution tracking.
  • Develop and maintain program documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk registers, briefings, and reports.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with government customers, ensuring clear communication of program status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional technical and administrative teams, providing direction, mentorship, and performance oversight.
  • Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures. Individual shall have written and oral communications abilities commensurate with this management role.
  • Advanced knowledge of C4ISR, IT, and engineering program environments.
  • Expertise in program and project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources across multiple projects.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills appropriate for senior management and government-facing roles.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of technical experience in support of program/projects, to include: Equipment Support, System Support, and Programmatic Support.
  • Minimum 8 years of Program Management experience, to include: Technology Assessments, Systems Design, Systems Analysis, Programmatic Support, Acquisition Planning, and Budget Planning.
  • Must have a Top-Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.


Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $160,000.00 to $180,000.00 annually.
