Overview

Goldbelt Hawk designs, develops, and implements comprehensive solutions for problem spaces, including computer security, scalable architectures, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and network/data center operations. Specializing in local and enterprise-level incident response and forensic analysis, Hawk's personnel deliver threat analysis and reporting while implementing solutions based on mature planning and development practices.

Summary:

In this position the employee will assist Goldbelt Hawk and its clients with Information Systems Administration, asset management, and other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00PM

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:
  • Systems Administration (25%)
    • Handles all MATSS SharePoint administration, including page creation/modification, user permissions, account creation, and data migration
    • Classroom Audio Visual Systems preparation and Maintenance
    • Classroom Scheduling and maintenance of SOP, Support, Tutorials
    • Classroom visitor support, tracking, utilization
    • Provide support for Classroom Systems and develop/maintain guides
    • Coordinate with outside technical support to resolve MATSS classroom network issues
  • Help Desk Administration (20%)
    • Establishes and maintains help desk activities at the MATSS level to meet needs of local users
    • Tracks and Responds to help desk issues
    • Actively engages in customer support to help resolve IT-Related issues and provides answers in a timely manner
  • Network Administration (15%)
    • Handles all additions, deletions, and major modifications to the support of the network infrastructure
    • Assists in the implementation of network security at the enterprise level as established by the U.S. Marine Corps and local policies and procedures
  • Asset Management (15%)
    • Coordinates the purchasing of all software, hardware, and other IT assets at the MATSS level - (not to include simulators)
    • Conducts regular inventories of MATSS assets and reports results to the MATSS OIC
    • Keep an Inventory on SharePoint and ensure it is clearly visible on the MATSS KBay Home page
  • Other (25%)
    • Creates and implements images for all workstations
    • Assists the MATSS OIC with IA reviews IAW DoD/Marine Corps policies
    • Ensures Classified and Special Access Programs Facility systems, assets and facilities are current and compliant, along with completion and submission of compliance documents
    • Assists in implementation and maintenance of JMPS (Joint Mission Planning System) assets: (including imaging, patching, IA compliance, servers, workstations, operating systems, and application software)

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Advanced Hardware and Software troubleshooting skills
  • Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations
  • Basic network hardware and configuration knowledge to include Switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies
  • Windows Scripting skills
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills and professionalism
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals at all levels in a large, complex, military organization as well as the ability to work with senior leadership in a corporate environment

Minimum Qualifications:
  • CompTIA A+; Network+; Security+ certifications (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years' IT Administration experience in an Enterprise class environment
  • S. Citizenship
  • Eligible for DoD SECRET Clearance
  • Travel Requirements: Infrequent


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates or "Bachelor's Degree" in IT
  • CCNA certifications
  • Advanced Microsoft Server knowledge
  • Moderate Microsoft SharePoint knowledge I would add PowerApps but it can be learned on job.
  • Moderate Active Directory knowledge
  • Moderate Group Policy knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
