Job Summary
The Facilities and Security Operations Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and compliant operation of government-sponsored contractor facilities. This role serves as the primary point of contact for tenants while ensuring all regulatory and security requirements are met. The ideal candidate will be organized and have experience in the U.S. Government, DoD, Intelligence, or contractor community in operations, facilities, or security.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily operations and maintenance of government-sponsored contractor facilities
Verify clearances for all permanently badged personnel and visitors in coordination with the security team
Maintain visitor sign-in sheets and issue/assign visitor badges
Coordinate visits with front desk staff and assist with introductory phone calls or tours for prospective tenants
Act as a liaison between the Contracts team and prospective tenants during service agreements and modifications
Prepare and send monthly invoices to current tenants
Assist with new tenant orientations
Participate in sponsor inspections and biannual alarm testing
Coordinate with building management on base building repairs
Respond to alarms and security notifications after hours
Requirements and Skills
Current Top Secret/SCI clearance
(Full-Scope Polygraph preferred)
5+ years of experience in facilities, program, or physical security operations
Knowledge of NISPOM and ICD requirements with practical implementation experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
