As a SecureView Network Engineer, you’ll play a central role in fielding and sustaining the secure infrastructure that enables critical access for the Defense Intelligence Agency at JBAB, Washington, DC — helping mission users connect across secure domains with confidence and reliability.
Network Design: The NE is responsible for secure IT infrastructure design; system integration, network monitoring, hardening and vulnerability remediation
Network Administration: The NE will administer and configure and manage the SecureView network infrastructure, VPN, Firewalls and Certificate Authority, data storage and troubleshooting, and is responsible for disaster recovery
System Administration Support: NE will also support system administration activities including operation of the SecureView Management Server (SVMS) for deployment and maintenance of SecureView Workstations (SVWS), workstation provisioning, creating Deployment Groups, VM Templates, creating new OS images, imaging cross-domain workstations, laptops and other end point machines, and deploying end user devices
Education and Experience requirements:
A bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, or; an associate’s degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, or; a major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, or; 11 years of recent specialized experience
Security+ or CISSP certification
Network+, CCNA, or comparable DoD 8570 Computing Environment certification
