Position Title: Ground Systems Engineer
Clearance Requirement: Mid level can be Secret but the Sr. level needs a TSSCI
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Duration: 12-month contract to hire
Compensation Range: $60/hour - $80/hour + open compensation range depending on experience level
Required Skills & Experience
Key Responsibilities
• Systems engineering that includes decomposing requirements into architecture, internal and external interfaces, and system design behaviors
• Pre-planned or ad-hoc scheduling and situational awareness of satellites and payloads capabilities to track missiles
• Analysis and fusion of missile tracking data provided by satellite to the ground for processing and rapidly providing and disseminating the information Technical Skills Required
Minimum of 15+ years of recent designing and developing systems that can solve complex problems using algorithms
Minimum of 10+ years of recent algorithm development and tuning for specific mission parameters
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Bonus Skills You Might Bring
Recent experience with missile tracking systems design and architecture, and sensor fusion techniques
Recent experience designing logic, assessing and scheduling satellite services to track missiles
Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in system design and deployment
Experience with image processing (collection, handling, storing, and analysis)
