Location: Boulder, Colorado

Clearance: DoD Secret Clearance Required
Join a high-impact team dedicated to supporting the U.S. missile defense mission. As an Algorithms Engineer, you’ll work with IR satellite sensor data to develop, analyze, and optimize algorithms for accurate 3D tracking of missile trajectories—pinpointing launch origin, current position, and projected impact. Your work will directly contribute to national security by delivering actionable intelligence to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and supporting rapid evaluation of real-world missile tracking events.
What We’re Looking For
Solid foundation in physics-based and aerospace principles
Experience developing algorithms for missile tracking and prediction
Proficiency in data visualization and vector mathematics
Analytical mindset for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance testing
Required Skills & Experience
Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Math, Physics, Engineering, or related STEM field
Background in Modeling & Simulation, Aerospace/Physics, object tracking, and state estimation
Educational or professional experience with physics-based algorithms for missile tracking/prediction
Strong proficiency State Estimation, Kalman Filtering, Kepler Filtering or polynomial filters

Engineer II
• Salary: $90,000–$115,000

• Requirements:
– Bachelor’s + 2 years' experience, or
– Master’s + 0 years' experience
Engineer III
• Salary: $115,000–$135,000
• Clearance: Secret

– Bachelor’s + 5 years, or
