The Account Manager is responsible for leading and managing the service, inspection, and testing (ITM) program for NIH facilities. This role serves as the primary point of contact for NIH stakeholders and oversees day-to-day contract execution, coordination of service activities, compliance, and performance across fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems. The position requires strong program leadership, technical understanding of life safety systems, and the ability to manage complex, high-visibility federal service contracts.
Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements including U.S. citizenship for access to classified information.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for NIH contracting officers, facility managers, and stakeholders
- Lead execution of the NIH fire alarm and fire sprinkler service, inspection, and testing program
- Coordinate and oversee ITM activities across multiple buildings and systems
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, NFPA standards, and NIH-specific procedures
- Coordinate service scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation in collaboration with service managers and coordinators
- Monitor performance metrics, service completion, and deliverables
- Oversee issue resolution, corrective actions, and follow-up work
- Support contract modifications, task orders, and scope changes
- Coordinate inspections, audits, and reviews with NIH representatives and AHJs
- Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and record retention in accordance with federal requirements
- Support invoicing, contract closeout, and performance reporting
- Lead internal coordination between service, inspection, engineering, and compliance teams
- Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with a Bachelors Degree (Preferred).
- 10+ Years of experience with an Associate's Degree.
- 12+ years of experience with a HS Diploma
- Strong understanding of federal service contracts and compliance-driven environments
- Ability to lead complex, multi-site ITM programs
- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and high service volumes
- Ability to work under pressure in high-visibility federal environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail and compliance
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and resources
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience managing federal customers or programs
- Experience overseeing fire alarm and fire sprinkler service, inspection, and testing programs
- Knowledge of applicable NFPA standards (including NFPA 72 and NFPA 25)
- Experience coordinating large-scale service contracts or programs
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to meet federal background, clearance, and site access requirements.
- This position has been identified as requiring an additional client background check.
- Experience supporting NIH, HHS, VA, DoD, or similar federal agencies
- Familiarity with federal reporting, compliance, and audit processes
- NICET II certification in Fire Alarm or Automatic Sprinkler Systems (preferred)
- Experience managing multi-year, multi-site federal service programs
- Experience coordinating AHJ and federal inspections
- Combination of office base with field work up to 5% of the time.
- Regular interaction with NIH facilities and federal stakeholders
- May require travel within the NIH campus or regional facilities
- Flexible hours to support program demands and federal deadlines
