Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and management for the ANG BIM contract, ensuring full compliance with the PWS, performance metrics, and contractual objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for ANG and DAF Government stakeholders; ensure continuity of communications through a designated Deputy Program Manager.
- Plan, scope, schedule, execute, and deliver all BIM program activities across multiple ANG installations with zero mission disruption.
- Manage program financials, including budget execution, cost control, forecasting, and profit and loss (P&L) responsibility.
- Lead and coordinate all contractor personnel, subcontractors, and vendors supporting BIM execution.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained to meet all BIM tasking requirements; proactively manage workforce continuity and surge support.
- Ensure personnel possess the required certifications, clearances, experience, and training to support ANG BIM network, cybersecurity, and infrastructure operations.
- Ensure contractor personnel maintain a thorough understanding of AFIN systems, ANG network environments, and Air Force cybersecurity policies.
- Track and report program performance against cost, schedule, and technical milestones; deliver regular status reports, risk assessments, and performance metrics to Government and Akima leadership.
- Administer program policies, quality controls, and standard operating procedures; drive continuous process improvement and operational maturity.
- Ensure host unit and base-level processes are followed consistently across all supported ANG locations.
- Adopt and enforce Akima's project management, quality assurance, and documentation methodologies in alignment with ANG BIM requirements.
Qualifications
- An Active DoD Secret clearance is required for consideration
- Minimum of (10) years of Program or Project Management experience supporting U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard, or Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-site programs with distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of the Air Force network, base-level IT infrastructure, and Air Force cybersecurity requirements.
- Experience applying Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies in DoD environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting similar Air Force modernization programs.
- Familiarity with Air Force network operations, cybersecurity compliance (RMF), and infrastructure sustainment.
- Experience leading phase-in transitions with zero mission impact.
