The Opportunity:
CACI seeks a Senior Data Analyst in support of the Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS) to advance enterprise-wide data initiatives and advise on data collection, governance, analysis, and application across DS systems. This position plays a critical role in transitioning DS from ad hoc data practices to standardized, reliable, and mission-driven analytics. The Senior Data Analyst will also help DS prepare for advanced analytics and AI by ensuring data, policies, and processes are robust and mature.
This hybrid role encompasses data analysis, data governance, and analytic strategy.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Responsibilities:
1. Enterprise Data Strategy & Governance
- Assess and document DS data assets across systems and mission areas.
- Define and implement enterprise data standards, including common definitions, metadata, quality rules, and lifecycle management.
- Establish and promote data ownership and stewardship models across program offices.
- Develop and maintain policies for data access, sharing, classification, and reuse.
- Ensure compliance with federal data, privacy, and security requirements.
2. Data Analysis & Business Intelligence
- Analyze data from multiple DS systems to generate actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
- Develop standardized metrics and analytic products for use across offices.
- Support business intelligence and reporting tools by defining validated data sources and metrics.
- Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and quality issues; recommend and support remediation strategies.
3. Advanced Analytics & AI Readiness
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to ensure analytic models use trusted, governed data.
- Evaluate proposed AI and advanced analytics use cases for feasibility, data readiness, and mission alignment.
- Define data requirements and success criteria for machine learning and AI initiatives.
- Advise on responsible use of DS data for automation and decision support.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Work with system owners and mission offices to translate operational needs into data requirements.
- Educate stakeholders on data literacy, governance, and analytic best practices.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams, security, policy, and mission leadership.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- 7-10 years of experience in enterprise data/analytics, including at least 3-5 years in government or regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and enterprise data management.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis tools such as SQL and Excel.
- Ability to communicate complex data issues to non-technical audiences.
- Experience supporting multiple systems and diverse data sources.
Desired:
- Experience in law enforcement, intelligence, national security, or similar mission environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Experience supporting or evaluating AI and machine learning initiatives.
- Knowledge of federal data, privacy, and security standards.
