Provide support for a DoD customer in Intelligence and Automation Operations. The purpose of this effort is to provide comprehensive operational intelligence integration and data-centric support to the DoD and its diverse customer base, including tactical units, joint forces, interagency partners, allied and coalition entities, Army Service Component Commands (ASCCs), Joint Task Force J-2s, and Combatant Commands.

This effort enables intelligence consumers to discover, access, and share relevant Intelligence Community (IC) reporting-both all-source and single-source-across the networks they operate. Core services for which the Akima team is responsible include cross-domain solutions, secure network access, data management, systems integration, and access to intelligence reporting across U.S. and multinational platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, maintains, and delivers training material to drive intelligence goals, objectives, tradecraft, and standards.
  • Provides lesson plans / presentations / curricula in support of educational goals and maintains materiel within the assigned educational system (i.e. AGILE, Training Development Capability (TDC), etc.).
  • Reviews emerging policy and doctrine publications, provides feedback, and assesses for incorporation into training products.
  • Develops / maintains training records and tracking systems as required or designated by the Government.
  • Works in partnership with the Data Integration Team Lead, who manages availability and access to the systems and data relied upon by the ISI.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have Bachelor's degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master's degree.
  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years' experience in an intelligence discipline OR associate's degree with 12 years' experience in an intelligence discipline.
  • An Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph is required for consideration

Desired Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage the work tasks of subordinates conducting intelligence planning, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination.
  • Demonstrated experience working with bilateral or multilateral partners in the areas of intelligence information sharing or intelligence data/system interoperability.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver professional briefings and presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and maintain documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures and ability to produce reports incorporating text and graphics to convey complex concepts.
  • Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.
  • Demonstrates ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks. Demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrates ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.

Desired Experience:
  • Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • 10 years demonstrated experience in an intelligence discipline working in the DoD or IC within the last 2 years.
  • 4 years demonstrated experience leading a team and managing work tasks of subordinates conducting intelligence planning, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination.
