Peerless is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to support Information Technology program objectives by assisting senior personnel and providing hands-on technical support across secure IT systems and infrastructure.
The Information Technology Specialist will install, program, maintain, and support information processing and security systems. This role involves analyzing and implementing information security solutions, supporting telecommunications efforts tied to secure systems, and proactively identifying and resolving issues to prevent outages or service disruptions. The Specialist will also provide technical assistance for secure video teleconferencing systems and guide IT support personnel to ensure reliable operations.
Requirements
• Associate degree or 5+ years of experience in a closely related field
• IAT Level II Certification
• Security+ Certification
• Active TSSCI Clearance
• Experience supporting information security systems and secure IT operations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting secure telecommunications systems
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing secure video teleconferencing equipment
• Broad knowledge across computer services supporting in-house information security operation
