Insight Global is actively hiring a Secret Cleared Splunk Administrator to manage, support, and optimize a Splunk environment supporting a newly awarded DoD Program in Alexandria, VA at the Mark Center.
Candidates can work 40% Remotely; with 60% onsite work required.
The selected candidate will be responsible for day-to-day administration, performance tuning, onboarding data sources, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of Splunk platforms used for monitoring, security, and operational intelligence.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with Splunk Enterprise, log management, and system troubleshooting, along with a proactive mindset for continuous improvement and automation.
Minimum job requirements include:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelors and 4+ years experience specifically working with Splunk.
- Strong understanding of Splunk architecture and components and experience with writing Splunk queries
- Experience working with log sources such as system logs, application logs, network devices, and cloud services
- Security+ Certification or higher
- Splunk Core Certified Power User, Equivalent certification or higher
Candidates pay may vary based on level of expertise, clearance level, and certifications; but Insight Global expects to pay 140K - 145K for this position.
