Overview

Lucayan Technology LLC is seeking a Level 2 Data Scientist to join our team in Chantilly, VA. This role applies advanced data science techniques to cybersecurity operations and mission-focused analytics, enabling automation, anomaly detection, and data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Collect, clean, and analyze cybersecurity and IA data
• Build machine learning models and statistical solutions.
• Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings.
• Support data engineering and automation initiatives.
• Provide recommendations to mission stakeholders and leadership.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph .
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of machine learning, LLMs, and data visualization.
• Familiarity with tools such as Python, R, AWS, Spark, and Tableau.

Preferred:

• Cybersecurity or IA operations experience.
• Agile workflow experience (Scrum, Jira, Confluence).
