We're looking for a talented individual to join our Infrastructure & Cross-Functional Team (CFT) as a Database Expert. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing robust database solutions that drive our organization forward.

Responsibilities:

• Database Design & Development: Utilize your expertise to create relational and Object-Oriented databases, parser software, and loading tools.
• Data Management: Manage large data flows and configure NiFi clusters, ensuring seamless data ingestion and retrieval.
• Security & Analysis: Leverage your network security knowledge to analyze data and provide actionable insights to enhance our systems.
• Long-term Planning: Project future database needs and develop structures that align with our system's architecture, balancing data volumes, user needs, and security protocols.

Qualifications:

Required:

• An active NSA TS/SCI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of DBE experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• 10 years of experience in similar roles is highly valued.
• Proven experience installing, configuring, and optimizing NiFi instances and clusters.
• Solid background in Linux environments.
• Expertise in building and monitoring data flows.
• Strong documentation skills for system specs, SSPs, and SOPs.

Desired:

• Hands-on experience with TLS/SSL, OpenSSL, keytool, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in regular expressions, NoSQL databases, ELK Stack, and Splunk.
• Technical infrastructure design skills and experience with configuration tools like Salt or Puppet.
• Experience in creating and documenting ontologies, data models, and APIs.
• Deep knowledge of SQL, MySQL, Postgres, Oracle databases, and database cloning techniques.
• Expertise in database security, including hardening and ensuring secure connections.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$120,800 - $265,800
