Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Responsibilities:
- Act as a collaborative contributor on an Agile Software Development team.
- Champion security during design and delivery of solutions, to ensure efficient and consistent delivery to our customer.
- Build & maintain CI/CD pipelines in a collaborative environment where you'll partner with development, operations, and security teams to optimize our development processes and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cyber engineers on hardening the software supply chain in accordance with industry requirements.
- Leverage modern DevSecOps tools to deploy and monitor software solutions in an air gapped environment.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. Will consider experience in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps or similar technical roles.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation and tooling development.
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with configuration management tools, such as Ansible.
- Willing to work onsite in Austin, TX.
- Current and active Top Secret Clearance, willing and able to obtain TS/SCI. Current and active TS/SCI preferred.
Desired:
- Experience working on Linux systems.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Experience with Agile software development methodology.
- Experience with build automation tools, such as Maven, Gradle.
- Utilize version control tools like GIT.
- Familiarity with hypervisors and managing virtual environments (ProxMox, VMWare, etc.).
- Background in application development with an understanding of secure coding practices.
- Experience using automated testing and security scanning tools (SonarQube, Fortify, etc.).
- Experience with security testing tools and methodologies (e.g., OWASP, penetration testing).
