Security Clearance Requirements:

Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce information systems security policies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Perform Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) management, remediation, and reporting.
- Develop, maintain, and update system security documentation, including SSPs and C&A artifacts.
- Collaborate closely with the ISSM to uphold the program's IA posture.
- Maintain the operational security posture for assigned information systems.
- Conduct security evaluations to ensure systems meet all certification and compliance requirements.
- Maintain technical records for workstations, servers, network devices, and security appliances.
- Analyze cyber threats and develop strategies for incident detection, reporting, and remediation.
- Manage security‑related configuration changes across software, hardware, and firmware.
- Support evaluation and deployment of security solutions for multi‑classification environments.
- Develop, update, and enforce system‑specific security policies.
- Administer user identification and authentication mechanisms for assigned systems.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
- 10+ years of hands‑on ISSO experience supporting secure system operations in isolated, connected, and standalone environments.
- 5+ years supporting the preparation and maintenance of SSPs and other security documentation.
- 5+ years administering tools supporting IAVA management.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience with security tools, hardware/software security implementation, encryption technologies, and communication protocols.
- Extensive experience evaluating software architectures and systems for compliance with security requirements.
- Background implementing and enforcing security policies on large‑scale software or IT programs.
- Demonstrated success delivering day‑to‑day security operations for complex systems.
- Self‑motivated, solutions‑oriented, and committed to best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 12+ years of relevant experience supporting large‑scale software development or integration programs.
