CACI is seeking a Engineering Technician at Joint Base McGuire, Dix, Lakehurst, New Jersey.
What You'll Get to Do:
• Implements and executes solutions for technical initiatives and integration of commercial and military technologies into and onto Military Tactical Vehicles and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.
• Responsible for operating Military Tactical Vehicles, both wheeled and tracked, in all terrain conditions.
• Shall perform routine tasks such as lifting and carrying, digging, rigging, setup and teardown of Military Equipment in an Operational Field Test Environment. Position requires incumbent to be available during inclement weather contingencies.
• Responsible for adjusting or recommending enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of systems integration and communication operations.
• Addresses somewhat complex technical issues/problems that require a depth of technical and integration job knowledge from other areas. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences, with analysis of the issue
• Designing and manufacturing of prototype Mechanical and Electrical components with experience in utilizing advanced diagnostic tools (multimeter, oscilloscope)

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
• Experience mechanically and electrically integrating prototype systems into tactical platforms to include HMMWV, STRYKER, and Raptor vehicles
• Hands on experience with various tactical communication systems such as TACNET, WIN-T, L3Harris, Persistent, GD and Elbit
• Experienced in designing, configuring and integrating Mission-Critical Commercial and Military systems into Military Tactical and Aerial UAV and CUAS Platforms. Systems include Radios, Routers, Switches, Uninterrupted Power Supplies, Generators, Satellite, Wi-Fi and GPS, Network and Power Cabling.
• Mission Critical Systems include Radios, Routers, Switches, Uninterrupted Power Supplies, Generators, Satellite, Wi-Fi and GPS, Network and Power Cabling. I am CompTIA Security+ certified with hands-on expertise with Military Networks to include SIPR, NIPR, DREN focused on reliable and sustainable communications in congested and contested operational environments.
• An Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance (US Citizen)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Associates Degree, and or Vocational, and Technical Education and Certifications to include:
• Military Experience that demonstrates strong leadership, adaptability, and team cohesion developed under high-pressure missions and live-fire training, and experience operating within joint and multinational environments during training exercises and deployments.
• Creativity and analytical skills with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to develop solutions from an idea to final product
• Understanding of the implications of issues such as cost, safety, design for manufacturability, and time constraints
• Experience working in a field environment supporting military exercises and evaluation events vehicles
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner, and the ability to work well with others
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering and experience in vehicle power system design
• Hands on mechanical aptitude/skills, knowledge of basic hand tools and shop procedures, ability to direct and lead technicians

Pay Range:
This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI's government contract for the work location.
Minimum Req uired Hourly Wage:
