The Audio-Visual Command Meeting (AVCM) Engineers will be travel within their respective zones and will perform augmentation support to other zones as needed. Supports Senior Executive Services (SES) and Military officers conference and meeting spaces. S erves as Lead Audio Visual Engineer.

The Audio-Visual Command Meeting (AVCM) Engineers will be travel within their respective zones and will perform augmentation support to other zones as needed. Supports Senior Executive Services (SES) and Military officers conference and meeting spaces. S erves as Lead Audio Visual Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Install, pull, terminate, and test all audio visual (AV) type cables, connectors, and interfaces.
- Install projection screens, plasma TVs and different types of speakers. Installation of AV systems on client sites.
- Read blueprints and wire AV racks.
- Manage AV projects with various models and makes of equipment. Has a thorough understanding and working knowledge of testing, analyses and corrective action on systems, networks, hardware, and software.
- Know and understand all wire and connector types on all AV related cables.
- Work heavily with Audio Visual equipment, internet-based video solutions, switchers, codecs, interfaces, and room design.
- Access classified areas to support Enterprise JWICS with installation and troubleshooting system hardware.
- The Engineer will not be required to have a SIPR or JWICS user account.
Requirements:

Experience: 5 years of experience with:
- Crestron
- Cisco
- Biamp/AMX
- Extron
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk to various locations as needed.
- Ability to bend and navigate to perform assigned duties.
- Ability to lift light to moderate equipment as needed for job.
- Must be comfortable working on ladders and on lifts as required.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and work within varied conditions some which may be small or confined.
