Altamira is searching for a Data Scientist in Tampa, Florida.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall data science and data characterization technologies and will report to the on-site program manager.
- Assess technology development and evaluate its operational usefulness and eventually demonstrate the technology capability through test and evaluation.
- Results must be documented in writing and communicated both verbally and through multi-media methods to senior management.
- Must have TS/SCI clearance to start and the willingness/ability to obtain a CI Polygraph
- Onsite 5 days a week at the Timberlake Federal Building (Downtown Tampa)
Qualifications (Primary):
- Proficient in Python, ideally will know other languages like Java
- Experienced in production level ETL pipelines development and deployment
- Experienced in ETL pipeline tools, ideally Prefect or NiFi (Prefect is preferred)
- Understanding of the data science process and experience with Exploratory Data Analysis
Qualifications (Secondary):
- Experience in AI/ML model development
- Experience with MLOps frameworks (MLFlow, BentoML)
- Experience with GenAI development (LangChain, OLlama, etc)
- Experience in working in High Side network environments (Clairvoyant)
