Please see below for two new System Engineers out of Annapolis Junction. Please note that this role requires an active (and in scope) TS/SCI w Full Scope poly from the NSA. This is a hardline requirement from the customer. Salary rates are extremely flexible with generous PTO packages (3+ weeks) and sign on bonuses.

Systems Engineer 1

The Level 1 System Engineer (SE1) will support complex programs by analyzing user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system specifications. This role involves assisting with the design and development of systems, guiding users in formulating requirements, conducting feasibility studies, and advising on alternative approaches. The SE1 will provide technical leadership for integrating requirements, design, and technology, while incorporating new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations. The position includes developing technical and system architecture documentation, supporting implementation planning, and coordinating with the government on systems engineering issues. The SE1 ensures the technical integrity of work and deliverables, communicates effectively with program personnel and government stakeholders, and supports verification efforts and certification/accreditation processes. This role participates in integrated product teams, design reviews, and interface definition activities to ensure the successful development and deployment of systems.

Requirements:
•TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly from NSA
•7+ years experience in SE programs
•1+ years in the legal or technical aspects of intelligence community compliance required

Systems Engineer 2

The Level 2 System Engineer (SE2) is a senior role responsible for leading complex system engineering efforts across large programs. The SE2 provides guidance on system design and integration, develops and reviews requirements, and implements comprehensive solutions aligned with DoDAF and SOA architectures. This position includes reviewing and approving system engineering documentation, assessing program risks, managing technical baselines, and ensuring compliance with verification and certification requirements. The SE2 provides technical direction for hardware and software components, conducts functional allocation and interface standardization, and develops operational concepts illustrating system interactions with users and the environment. The role also involves performing quantitative analysis of non-functional system performance areas such as reliability, maintainability, vulnerability, and survivability. The SE2 coordinates system integration across multiple teams, ensuring completeness and alignment with program objectives while maintaining overall technical integrity and compliance with Intelligence Community standards.


Requirements:
•TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly (FROM NSA)
•14+ years of SE experience
•B.S in System Engineering or similar
•3+ years of experience in the legal or techncial aspects of intelligence community privacy compliance
•2+ years experience with NSA Systems Architecture
