Insight Global is partnering with a client to hire a TS/SCI with Polygraph cleared System Administrator to support a classified contract in Columbia, MD. This person will be joining a team responsible for providing network boundary security solutions and daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provides implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for IT systems, ensuring reliable operation across client, server, storage, network, and mobile environments. Responsibilities include managing system infrastructure, performing daily monitoring, resolving technical issues, and supporting both Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 escalations. Configuring and administering UNIX and Windows operating systems, installing, and updating software, maintaining system and network integrity, and implementing enhancements to improve performance and reliability. The administrator also assists users in accessing IT systems, supports hardware and dispatch-related issues, and communicates system status and escalations to agency leadership and internal stakeholders. Optimizing system operations and resource utilization, conducting capacity planning, performing in depth troubleshooting, providing detailed analysis for escalated tickets, and remaining involved throughout issue resolution processes.
