Insight Global is actively hiring 30+ Secret and Top Secret Cleared C++ Software Developer to join our team supporting a newly awarded DoD Program building high-quality software in a disciplined engineering environment.
The selected candidates can sit in either Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville AL.
Selected candidates will work on a team responsible for developing, integrating, and optimizing software components that operate in real-time or near-real-time environments for multiple missile defense programs. You will design, develop, and maintain C++ ( preferably modern C++) software for missile defense applications including command and control, tracking, sensor integration, engagement planning, or simulation.
You will be working closely with systems, integration, test, and mission engineering teams to ensure performance, correctness, and resiliency.
Minimum Job Requirements include:
- Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field
- 5+ years of professional software development experience using C++ (C++17 or higher preferred).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOP, and software design principles.
- Experience with Linux development environments and build systems
- Familiarity with debugging and profiling tools (e.g., gdb, valgrind, perf, sanitizers).
Candidate pay will vary based on experience, location, and clearance level; however we expect to pay 100K - 200K for these openings.
