Summary:

The Security Manager oversees all security operations for the OTC BTSS contract, ensuring compliance with DoD, Air Force, and federal security requirements. This position manages personnel security, facility access, and classified information handling while serving as the primary point of contact for security-related issues. The Security Manager maintains accountability for sensitive programs, systems, and personnel, supporting operational testing, experimentation, and base operations.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:
  • Manage and oversee all personnel, physical, and information security programs for the OTC BTSS contract.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force security policies, including classified program protection requirements.
  • Maintain and manage security clearance records using JPAS and e-QIP.
  • Review and process security clearances, access requests, and security documentation for contractor personnel.
  • Monitor facility security measures, including physical access, storage of classified materials, and visitor control.
  • Provide guidance and security training to personnel regarding procedures, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Conduct security audits and assessments to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Serve as liaison with Government Security Office (GSO), Program Security Officer (PSO), and other security stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely reporting of security incidents or violations and recommend mitigation actions.
  • Support operational testing activities while ensuring security of classified and sensitive information.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Must possess practical knowledge of and experience with JPAS and e-QIP.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports, briefings, and stakeholder engagement.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum five (5) years of related work experience.
  • Must have experience with personnel security, and security management.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • All personnel require TOP SECRET clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
