Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer to design, develop, implement, and test advanced algorithms, software, and simulation tools for aerospace and defense systems. This role involves working on complex platforms such as aircraft, spacecraft, missiles, launch vehicles, and submersibles, ensuring precise navigation, guidance, and control across all mission phases-from launch and flight to orbital insertion and staging events.
The engineer will contribute to high-fidelity 6 Degree of Freedom (6DOF) simulations, developing and validating missile flight code, conducting mission analysis, and evaluating system performance. This position also includes mentoring junior engineers and collaborating on cutting-edge projects that demand expertise in flight dynamics, autopilot design, and control law development.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, verify, and test algorithms and software for GNC systems.
- Build and implement 6DOF simulation models to assess missile and tactical system performance.
- Perform mission analysis for flight test and operational systems.
- Develop and validate autopilot, navigation, and guidance schemes for missile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and accuracy.
- Mentor and train early-career engineers in GNC methodologies and tools.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience, OR PhD with no prior experience required.
- Active Top Secret clearance (DoD, current and within scope).
- Proven expertise in Guidance, Navigation, and Control engineering.
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and testing flight control algorithms.
- Experience in high-fidelity 6DOF modeling and simulation environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with missile GNC systems.
- Strong proficiency in C++ development within a Linux environment.
- Skilled in MATLAB and Python toolchains.
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a STEM discipline.
