Key Responsibilities
- Participate in planning technical approaches, resource allocation, schedules, and budgets for testing new systems and devices.
- Develop, execute, and document automated, manual, and regression tests for software and hardware.
- Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design custom test fixtures, and establish specifications throughout the engineering lifecycle.
- Perform set-up, configuration, and documentation of hardware/software systems, including software loading and device management.
- Create, update, and present detailed test strategies, test plans, cases, reports, and requirements traceability matrices.
- Investigate and document test issues/failures, perform root-cause analyses, and support the resolution of complex technical problems.
- Lead formal systems acceptance testing and support failure investigation activities.
- Collaborate across engineering teams, internal stakeholders, and external clients in a high-stakes environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM field with 5+ years of related experience, OR a Master's degree with 3+ years related experience.
- Proficiency in software regression testing, documentation of test processes, and testing of safety-critical software (C++ and Linux environments).
- Experience with automated and manual test methodologies and tools (e.g., DOORS, Jira, Matlab).
- Knowledge of Agile development methods and object-oriented programming and scripting languages.
- Strong track record in developing and presenting test plans, strategies, and results.
- Previous experience working with complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.

- Previous DoD project experience is highly desirable.
