Sr Engineering Technician

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
- Build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic/electro-mechanical assemblies and systems
- Calibrate, align, and maintain test equipment and components
- Construct and adjust tools, fixtures, and experimental setups per schematics and instructions
- Perform diagnostics, data collection, and analysis to support process improvements
- Assist with experiments, including setup and documentation under senior technician guidance
- Prepare chemical compounds and solutions as needed for lab use
- Implement practical solutions for hardware or process challenges
- Support the development and adjustment of laser/light transmission devices or circuitry
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Associate's degree in a related discipline or equivalent
- 1+ year of relevant experience in an engineering/laboratory support role
- Fundamental proficiency with electronic tools, test equipment, and fabrication
- Solder repair certification and/or FCC First Class License (may be required)
- Working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, diagnostics, and calibration
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance required at time of hire
- On-site work required
