Front-End Software Engineer

The Front-End Software Engineer will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing software activities focused on assisting the Air Force move forward with digital transformation. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new capabilities
• Resolve issues found in existing code
• Integrate capabilities with external services and tools
• Participate in code reviews and mentor team members
• Communicate status and technical details with customer

Required Qualifications:

• 3 + years of software development experience with a focus on front-end development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field
• U.S Citizenship with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Security Clearance. Active TS/SCI preferred.
• Strong proficiency with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
• Experience working with RESTful web services and APIs
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Experience using issue/bug tracking tools such as JIRA
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of features, and adapt in a dynamic environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
