Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Flight Test / EMD Test Strategic Planner that will be supporting emerging program at our Edwards AFB, CA location.
This individual will provide planning guidance to support the development and test of advanced aircraft. The role will Interact daily with Air Force program managers and industry subject matter experts across multiple domains (air, space, cyber) to assist the government with technical assessments, strategic planning, and engineering evaluations.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
• Responsible for planning the testing progression of a major Engineering & Manufacturing Development (EMD) flight test program.
• Coordinate with engineers as to the types of tests to be completed.
• Determine what tests can be performed in what order, considering interdependencies and prerequisites.
• Interface with System Program Office and Prime Contractor regarding test planning and scheduling.
• Participate in trade studies related to planning of test events.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in Flight Sciences, Avionics, Weapons, and EW flight test.
Desired Requirements:
• Participation in a previous major EMD flight test. program as an Engineer, Test Conductor, or Test Pilot.
• Experience with program management.
• Experience with or knowledge of systems engineering processes and procedures.
• Experience on cross functional teams comprised of engineering, program management and operations personnel technicians to successfully execute developmental test. Education Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field of study is required.
Clearance Requirements:
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility.
U.S. Citizenship is required
