The Opportunity:
The P1 Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Control Specialist supports CACI operations by executing daily shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions to ensure material availability, inventory accuracy, and compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. This role is foundational to production support and material flow across programs.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The Opportunity:
The P1 Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Control Specialist supports CACI operations by executing daily shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions to ensure material availability, inventory accuracy, and compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. This role is foundational to production support and material flow across programs.
Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving
- Receive and verify incoming material against purchase orders, packing slips, and system data
- Coordinate incoming inspection handoff in accordance with quality procedures
- Prepare outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation (BOLs, packing lists)
- Interface with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight) to support on-time shipments
Inventory Control
- Perform accurate ERP transactions (e.g., Infor LN / P2P / SAP) for receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper labeling, binning, and location control
- Support cycle counts, wall-to-wall inventories, and discrepancy resolution
- Identify and escalate shortages, damages, blocked inventory, or system mismatches
Material Handling & Compliance
- Safely move materials using approved equipment (pallet jacks, carts, forklifts if certified)
- Maintain stockroom and shipping/receiving areas per 5S and safety standards
- Follow ITAR, ESD, safety, and internal control requirements
Cross-Functional Support
- Work closely with Buyers, Planners, Quality, and Production to support production orders
- Stage, kit, and deliver material to production as required •
- Support continuous improvement efforts focused on inventory accuracy and material flow
Qualifications:
Required
- High school diploma
- 4-8 years experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory control
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
