Job Summary
Provides the overall functional vision and high-level solution design, bridging business requirements with Salesforce capabilities. Leads the definition of scalable data models and business processes, ensuring the solution supports business goals and remains supportable as it grows.
Responsibilities
Lead discovery and translate business needs into end-to-end functional designs aligned to Salesforce capabilities.
Define scalable data model and process design, including object strategy (standard vs custom) and lifecycle/process flows.
Produce functional specifications including user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows that can be built and tested.
Incorporate security and sharing considerations into the solution design (roles, access, and data visibility aligned to operating model).
Partner with the Technical Architect to validate feasibility, estimate work, and reduce delivery risk.
Support UAT readiness and stakeholder enablement through demos, walkthroughs, and clear documentation.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
5+ years designing and delivering Salesforce solutions in a functional architecture or senior consulting capacity.
Strong requirements facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated experience designing scalable data models and business processes.
Ability to produce clear user stories and acceptance criteria that support delivery and testing.
Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination as a condition of employment.
Preferred Certifications
Salesforce Certified Administrator
Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant and/or Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant
Salesforce Certified B2B Solution Architect and/or Salesforce Certified B2C Solution Architect
