CACI's Enterprise IT (EIT) Sector is seeking a skilled ISP/OSP Engineer. Our ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, optimization, and modernization of physical network infrastructure. As the Lead Network ISP/OSP Engineer, you'll oversee the survey, design, and implementation of fiber and copper cable plants, power integration, and associated ISP/OSP infrastructure. You'll approve technical documentation, lead engineering plans, supervise site teams, and ensure compliance with US Army requirements while adhering to industry standards and best practices. You'll contribute to delivering high-performance, secure and modern network solutions that enhance mission readiness across CONUS Army locations.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Responsibilities:
- Oversees the survey, design, and implementation of physical fiber and copper cable plants, power connections (in coordination with licensed electricians), conduits, patch panels, and butterfly diagrams.
- Works on telecommunication projects of varying size, scope, complexity, and location.
- Approves SDPs and Final SPRIP, defines requirements for circuit testing, and follows all applicable standards, including the National Electric Code.
- Assists in providing an IUID Marking Plan and a procurement LOM.
- Oversees deployment teams for survey, installation, testing, and QA activities, as well as pre-implementation coordination.
- Approves engineering implementation plans and project drawings, performs quality checks, and supports safe work environments. Identifies and resolves complex project problems, oversees systems pre-tests and acceptance tests, and ensures installations meet safety standards and work site conditions.
- Supervises ISP/OSP engineers or subcontractors, plans and leads major technology assignments, evaluates performance results, and functions as a technical subject matter expert across multiple project assignments.
- Optimize resource utilization and implement scaling strategies to meet changing demands.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Prepare reports on system performance, issues, and recommendations for improvement.
- Troubleshoot complex problems and work with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents.
- Provides daily supervision and direction to staff
Qualifications:
Required:
- US citizen with ability to obtain Secret clearance upon hire
- Technical bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience as a Lead Wired Engineer or similar role on large, complex networks/program (High School diploma or associates degree plus 12+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Specific Skills: Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, AutoCAD)
Desired:
- Active Secret security clearance
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment
- Experience managing/leading ISP/OSP modernization projects
- Prior success in supporting DoD projects, specifically network modernization projects
- BICSI RCDD certification
