ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences LLC is seeking a qualified candidate with at least a Secret clearance for a UX Web Developer opening. The is UX Web Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern, user-centered web and mobile applications in support of government mission systems. This role blends strong front-end engineering skills with UX/UI design expertise to deliver intuitive, accessible, and responsive digital experiences. The position supports Agile development teams and works closely with stakeholders, product owners, designers, and back-end engineers.

ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences LLC is seeking a qualified candidate with at least a Secret clearance for a UX Web Developer opening. The is UX Web Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern, user-centered web and mobile applications in support of government mission systems. This role blends strong front-end engineering skills with UX/UI design expertise to deliver intuitive, accessible, and responsive digital experiences. The position supports Agile development teams and works closely with stakeholders, product owners, designers, and back-end engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web and mobile user interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
- Translate user needs, requirements, and business processes into intuitive UX/UI solutions.
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using industry-standard design tools.
- Implement user-centered design principles and ensure compliance with accessibility standards (including Section 508).
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to plan, design, develop, test, and deploy applications.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Develop reusable UI components and front-end architectures using frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Integrate front-end applications with back-end services and APIs.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.
- Support testing, debugging, and troubleshooting activities across development environments.
- Present design concepts, prototypes, and demonstrations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Document designs, workflows, and technical implementations as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in web and/or mobile application development with a strong focus on UX/UI.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
- Experience with UX/UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, designers, product owners, and stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Active DoD Secret clearance. Candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered.
- U.S. citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing mobile applications using technologies such as React Native or Swift.
- Experience supporting DoD or other federal government programs.
- Knowledge of cloud-based application architectures (e.g., AWS-hosted solutions).
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, CompTIA Security+, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
