Truestone is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician III to support Radio Communications Suite (RCS) installation, integration, troubleshooting, and testing aboard U.S. Navy aircraft carriers undergoing Refueling and Complex Overhaul (RCOH).
This role serves as a technical bridge between engineering, senior technicians, and shipboard production, supporting complex installations, system integration, and test activities while ensuring compliance with NAVSEA standards, drawings, and configuration requirements.

This role serves as a technical bridge between engineering, senior technicians, and shipboard production, supporting complex installations, system integration, and test activities while ensuring compliance with NAVSEA standards, drawings, and configuration requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support integration, installation, and testing of RCS and associated shipboard communications systems.
- Interpret and execute work from Ship Change Documents (SCDs), technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and CTWDs.
- Provide hands-on technical support for complex cabling, equipment installation, and system integration issues.
- Assist with system troubleshooting, fault isolation, and resolution during integration and test events.
- Verify installation workmanship and technical compliance with NAVSEA and shipyard standards.
- Support testing, checkout, and validation of RCS subsystems and interfaces.
- Assist in coordination between engineering, production teams, and shipboard leadership.
- Support development and review of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) and test documentation.
- Provide technical guidance to Electronics Technicians and Laborers as needed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 6-10 years of electronics or engineering technician experience in shipboard or DoD environments.
- Strong understanding of shipboard communications, C4ISR, or RF-related systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and execute work from technical drawings and SCDs.
- Experience supporting system integration, testing, or technical validation activities.
- OSHA 10 certification (required).
- Experience working to NAVSEA standards and shipyard processes.
- Ability to obtain CAC / Public Trust and shipyard access.
- Prior CVN or large-deck ship experience (CVN, LHD, LHA).
- RCS, communications suite, or RF system integration experience.
- NAVSEA cableway installation experience.
- Fiber optic installation or testing experience.
- Prior CTII, NIWC, or PEO C4I program experience.
- Shipboard and industrial shipyard environment.
- Confined spaces, ladders, and elevated work areas
- PPE required at all times
