We are seeking a highly skilled System Testing Engineer to develop and execute system-level test plans for hardware-integrated server platforms. This role involves hands-on validation of system functionality, service availability, and hardware readiness across Linux and VMware environments. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating both GUI and CLI interfaces, writing automation scripts, and documenting test procedures with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement comprehensive system test plans for hardware-level server deployments
• Validate system readiness: confirm power status, access GUI/CLI, verify VMware functionality, and assess service and network connectivity
• Utilize Bash, PowerShell, and Ansible to automate and streamline testing workflows
• Perform hardware verification against defined scope and specifications
• Document test plans, procedures, and results for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues
Compensation: $55/hr to $57/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start day 1 of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
