We are looking for a professional with a strong background in systems design and strategic direction to drive technological advancements and support IT systems.

Description

The Network Architect will be responsible for developing and maintaining architecture designs and standards, providing strategic direction, and creating high-level system specifications. Key responsibilities include collaborating with engineers on design solutions, evaluating current and emerging technologies, and driving future technology advancements to align with customer goals. The role involves providing Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) support and working independently to achieve program objectives.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science
• 11 years of relevant experience
• Significant experience with Python, Java, Automation, and Systems Design
• Deep understanding of Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, Oracle)
• Ability to create and maintain architecture design and standards
• Ability to develop high-level system specifications
• Ability to provide Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) support
• Experience with system collaboration and solution design
• Knowledge of modern software languages (e.g., Python, Bash Scripting, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Salt, Terraform, Chef)
• Knowledge of Containers (e.g., Dockers, Kubernetes)

Optional Skills

• Experience with automated testing
• Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Knowledge of Security Development Operations (SecDevOps) on iterative development projects
• Knowledge of web applications and frameworks (e.g., Ruby, Rails, Django)
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code

Clearance

This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Benefits

Benefit	Details
Base Salary	$173,000 - $210,000
PTO	30 days annual PTO, which includes holidays.
Retirement	15% company retirement contribution. No match required. Vesting period is 50% per year over 2 years.
Paid Benefits	Company pays all insurance expenses up to 8% of base pay. If your insurance expenses are less that that, we bonus the difference to you.
Annual Bonuses	3% to 5% annual bonuses.
Cell Phone Stipend	$100 monthly phone expense reimbursement.
Training Budget	3 paid training days + $2,500 training budget
New Hire Bonus	$5,000 new hire bonus

Total Compensation

Total compensation is the total combination of salary, benefits, retirement, bonuses, etc... and it is calculated using the following formula:

Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits Budget + Retirement + Bonus + Training Budget + Phone Stipend

Base Salary	$210,000	Base salary for position.
Retirement	$31,500	15% company retirement contribution. No match required. Vesting period is 50% per year over 2 years.
Benefits Budget	$42,000	20% company paid Individual Benefits Account (12% for 30-days PTO, 8% for Insurances). If your insurance or PTO expenses are less than this, we bonus the difference to you.
Annual Bonus	$10,500	Annual bonus, 3% to 5% on average.
Training Budget	$2,500	Annual training budget.
Training Hours	$2,400	3 paid days for training.
Phone Stipend	$1,200	$100 monthly cell phone stipend.
