Cyntel Technologies is supporting an opening for an Expert GIS Database Administrator in Fort Bragg, NC
Required Qualifications:
• Shall be cleared at the TOP SECRET level with SCI eligibility
• Have 8 years of progressive experience performing complex analysis, design, development, and modification to improve the efficiency of Microsoft SQL and/or PostgreSQL databases in support of enterprise architecture.
• Shall be highly proficient in administering and deploying open source and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) GIS server equipment in support of intelligence organizations.
• Should possess strong oral and written communication skills and be capable of effectively directing subordinates.
• Shall possess a high-level/expert ability to manage and work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial-oriented data.
• The Expert GIS Database Administrator is required to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree and three additional years of general experience in the fields of database administration, intelligence systems architecture and geospatial systems experience are highly desirable.
• Network+ and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA). SQL Server 2016 certifications desired.
• Should possess an expert working knowledge of the discovery, analysis and exploitation of geospatially oriented data and the management of that data within a variety of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) compliant applications and databases.
