Responsibilities
You will be working with a dynamic team of system engineers responsible for design decisions in all areas of A/V Systems and the technical direction of multiple projects across multiple programs for operations. Responsibilities include designing the systems hardware and software framework for large complex resilient systems and formulating high-level architectural solutions to ensure implemented solutions meet stakeholder needs, standards, and performance requirements. Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Active Secret Clearance is required. Ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance is required

Responsibilities

- Designing, Developing and deploying software for Audio/Visual Control Systems, while following DEVOPS tools and processes.
- Supporting software deployment and validation both in person and remotely.
- Performing peer reviews of team member software and providing feedback.
- Identifying issues and implementing improvements to existing modules.
- Perform code demonstrations for colleagues.
- Identify and break down tasks needed to complete assignments
- Proposing and documenting process improvements to improve efficiency and quality of work.
- Developing post installation documentation to facilitate Operation and Maintenance of Audio-Visual Systems.
- Developing and communicating specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
- Accurately track the status of source code development to Project Managers, Engineering Managers and clients.
- Reviewing Audio/Visual Integrated Design Plans to understand project scope and capabilities.
Qualifications

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 5+ years' OR Master's Degree in Engineering with 3+ years' of progressive experience in the following: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a Related Engineering Discipline
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information
- Must currently hold a minimum SECRET security clearance.
- Must obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
- Experience developing and deploying software applications in C# .NET (preferably .NET 4.7.2) for multi-core processor platforms.
- Experience developing and integrating with third-party control modules and services using industry standard communication protocols (SSH, RESTFul, RS232, etc.).
- Ability to interpret and debug C# software.
- Experience building Test Driven software and utilizing unit testing for software validation.
- Experience developing configuration (JSON, XML, or equivalent) defined Software for modular and adaptive software applications.
- Experience utilizing DEVOPS tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket and Jira for planning, designing, developing and managing software.
- Experience with HTML-5, CSS and JavaScript preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of Scrum processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Demonstrated experience performing technical cross-training/coaching of junior colleagues
- Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
- Solid Microsoft Office Skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Certifications with Crestron Control Systems preferred but not required.
- Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills with the ability and experience communicating directly with executive leadership
- Solid problem solving and consultative skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 15% of the time.
