Position Overview
Phoenix Global Support is seeking a qualified JTAC Instructor. The instructor will provide JTAC instruction, training support, and student tracking while ensuring activities are executed in accordance with established specifications, schedules, and budgets.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide JTAC instruction, training, and student tracking responsibilities.
• Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with established specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Must have held or exceeded a JTAC Instructor qualification (regardless of position) as defined in service JTAC guidance or instructions (e.g., JFS ESC AP MOA 2004-01, USSOCOM M350-5, AFSOCI 13-50).
Required Qualifications
• Excellent communication skills.
• Minimum of two years Special Operations Forces (SOF) background OR augmented SOF for a cumulative two years as a JTAC during operational deployments.
• Working knowledge of the organizational interface of military, local, state, and federal agencies as applicable to required JTAC and SUAS operations.
• Familiarity with military command and control structures.
• Valid civilian driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain a valid military driver’s license for operated military vehicles.
• Physical capability to lift at least a 60-pound box to perform JTAC and SUAS duties.
• Land navigation/map and compass skills sufficient to read and locate points of interest and targets using latitude/longitude and Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) coordinates.
Education, Certifications & Clearance
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Certification: JTAC-I qualification and certification within the last 48 months.
Clearance: Secret or Top Secret may be required.
