Position Overview
QinetiQ US is looking to hire an experienced Software Developer to support the modernization of legacy software ensuring the functionality and efficiency of test systems at the C5ISR Center customer site at Fort Belvoir, VA.
Responsibilities
- Working with Optical Scientists to design and develop python programs, modules and libraries to help with testing and evaluation
- Support implementation of adapters to interface with controllers and instruments
- Support modernization of legacy systems (labVIEW)
- Support development of testing capabilities for new COTS and GOTS equipment
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in an engineering discipline or Computer Science and 4+ years of experience with Agile (Jira), Git version control, technical documentation, and Wikis.
- Proficiency in Python, creating modules and libraries.
- Experience in software migration.
- Live in the National Capital Region and work at the customer site on Fort Belvoir, VA.
- Must have an active DoD Secret or higher level clearance #qinetiqclearedjob
Preferred Qualifications
- Profieciency in NI LabVIEW
