General Function: .

• The role provides special projects logistics lead support focused on the MQ-9 UAS and similar unmanned systems.
• No specialized education or experience beyond the baseline requirements is mandated for this support role.
• The Contractor delivers sustaining and systems engineering support for special projects affecting MQ-9 UAS operations and lifecycle management.
• Advisory and draft documentation assistance is provided to help the Government establish logistics and sustainment performance standards.
• The Contractor supports documentation of processes related to payload integration onto the MQ-9 UAS and comparable platforms.
• Advisory assistance is given to support Government technical evaluations and fact-finding of weapon system contractor proposals.
• Support is provided to both the Program Manager (PM) and Contracting Officer (CO) during proposal evaluations.
• The Contractor assists in developing, coordinating, and resolving comments on logistics inputs across program efforts.
• Logistics advisory support extends to requirements definition, acquisition activities, and related contract actions.
• The Contractor supports development of Statements of Work (SOWs) from a logistics and sustainment perspective.
• Advisory input is provided for configuration control board actions to ensure logistics impacts are considered.
• The Contractor prepares advisory and draft documentation for briefings and reports updating program leadership on progress.
• Support is provided for program reviews and meetings, including review of program documentation for logistics and sustainment adequacy.
• The Contractor ensures logistics and sustainment considerations for payload integration onto the MQ-9 and similar systems are addressed.
• The Contractor identifies and analyzes payload integration logistics and sustainment issues affecting cost, schedule, and performance, and recommends potential solutions for Government consideration.

Qualifications:

Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:

• Advanced Degree (Master of Arts (MA) / Master of Science (MS) and twelve years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD.
• OR, BA/BS degree, and fifteen years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD.
• Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the TS/SCI level.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project).
• Must be able to perform all functional duties independently.
• Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
