Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking a Secret Cleared Network Technician to support a federal client of ours onsite in Pensacola, FL. This role is on a 3-year program supporting both the Navy and Marine Corps, providing IT support to the local bases across the United States. This candidate will essentially be a junior network engineer and the day to day includes:
· Layer 1 and 2 network troubleshooting
· Diagnosing network issues
· Routing and switching
· Working with Cisco, Brocade, and Juniper devices
· General customer service
· Training and education on network engineering
Requirements:
· Active DoD Secret Clearance
· 4 years of professional experience
· Security+ Certification
· Some hands-on experience with networks or networking
Plusses:
· CCNA, CCST, or CCT certification
Compensation:
$27/hr to $30/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
