A Role for Engineers Who Want Their Work to Matter
Step into a position where your DSP expertise directly shapes the future of U.S. defense, intelligence, and national security. This is an opportunity to solve some of the hardest signal processing problems in the world alongside elite engineers, mathematicians, and scientists who thrive on innovation and mission impact.
If you’re driven by complex technical challenges, real-world results, and the freedom to push boundaries, this environment is built for you.
What You’ll Lead
As a Senior DSP Engineer, you’ll architect and deliver advanced DSP solutions across communication, radar, and geolocation systems. Your work spans the entire lifecycle—from concept to deployment—giving you full visibility into how your designs perform in operational environments.
You will:
• Design and implement sophisticated DSP algorithms and software systems
• Analyze real-world data, optimize computational performance, and model RF systems
• Lead field testing, error budget analysis, and operational performance assessments
• Build efficient, production-grade software in Linux environments
• Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and proposing new approaches
• Mentor engineers and guide technical direction across programs
• Contribute to systems engineering, integration, testing, deployment, and O&M
This is a role where autonomy is expected, creativity is encouraged, and your ideas genuinely shape the mission.
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field
• 15+ years of experience in DSP or a closely aligned discipline
• Deep mastery of DSP theory and proven success building complex systems
• Experience as a technical lead or principal investigator
• Strong mentoring and cross-functional communication skills
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Python in Linux environments
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
• U.S. citizenship required
Bonus Expertise
• Cellular or satellite communications, modern modulation, cyclostationary techniques
• Geolocation, radar processing, RF propagation, link budgets, RF system design
• DevOps and cloud technologies (GitLab, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, CVE mitigation, PIP)
• Proposal leadership experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance
