Position Overview
Fusion Innovation is seeking a Senior Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to support the design, analysis, validation, and integration of advanced RF and communications systems. This role applies a multi-disciplinary systems engineering approach to ensure high-performance, reliable RF capabilities in complex operational environments.

Key Responsibilities
Validate technical performance of RF systems and support test and evaluation activities
Ensure successful integration of RF systems within the customer’s operational environment
Analyze RF capabilities in support of mission operations
Design and validate RF link performance, quality, and reliability
Conduct RF interference analysis and provide mitigation recommendations
Support systems engineering activities for acquisition and development of advanced communication subsystems
Perform end-to-end RF trade-off analyses
Assist with validation of new waveform specifications
Develop and present technical reports
Perform RF modeling and simulation, including RF propagation analysis

Required Skills
Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience, or Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience (An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree)
Experience developing RF link budgets, conducting RF interference analysis, and validating RF system performance
Strong foundation in communications systems theory
Knowledge of NTM systems and capabilities

Demonstrated expertise in communications waveform design, including:
- Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) / Low Probability of Detection (LPD)
- Forward Error Correction
- Modulation techniques
- Interference mitigation strategies
