NetApp's Keystone team delivers the industry's leading Storage‑as‑a‑Service (STaaS) platform for hybrid and cloud environments. As a Senior Product Manager, you will define product strategy, shape customer experiences, and guide key initiatives across the Keystone Subscription Engine. What You Will Do
- Demonstrates deep understanding of user needs by conducting user research, analyzing data behavior, and applying insights from personas and real customer workflows.
- Analyzing market trends, customer inputs, and competitive intelligence to inform product decisions.
- Defines simple, elegant solutions validated through close collaboration with design, research, field teams, and customers.
- Acts as the product expert for their project area-understanding user needs, technology constraints, market movements, and competitive offerings.
Product Strategy & Experience Leadership
- Drive product strategy and roadmap for Keystone's subscription‑based storage and cloud services.
- Identify and prioritize new platform capabilities based on customer insights, market data, and business goals.
- Lead design of customer‑centric, end‑to‑end experiences across onboarding, activation, and service management.
- Use data, telemetry, and customer feedback to shape meaningful improvements in product usability, customer outcomes, and operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, UX, product operations, support, and field organizations to deliver high‑quality releases.
- Partner with marketing and field teams to ensure successful launches, adoption, and customer understanding.
- Leverage customer conversations, field insights, and data analytics to influence priorities.
Execution Excellence
- Coordinates complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders while operating within a well‑defined product space.
- Serves as a key voice in assessing trade‑offs for launch decisions and resolving blocking bugs or issues.
- Defines KPIs and uses behavioral telemetry to drive continuous improvement.
Communication
- Crafts clear, data‑driven arguments to support product decisions and influence outcomes.
- Communicates effectively across written documents, presentations, and live discussions with diverse stakeholders.
- Comfortable presenting to customers, partners, and external audiences, including Q&A on core product capabilities and roadmap.
Leadership
- Operates independently with light supervision, demonstrating ownership, and strategic thinking.
- Helps shape project direction aligned with broader product and organizational priorities.
- Motivates and guides colleagues, fostering a collaborative, high‑trust, and productive environment.
- Builds strong consensus across teams and drives decisions that align stakeholders and maintain momentum.
- Shares knowledge openly contributing to best practices, playbooks, and organizational learning.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 7-10 years of product management experience in enterprise software, Data Storage systems, cloud services, or subscription platforms.
